Abstract:

Shahab al-Din Sohravardi was one of the great philosophers of the world of Islam living in the sixth century after hijrah. As a creative thinker, he could develop a new plan on the basis of this very creativity and thought. He inferentially stated philosophy and knowledge in his illuminationist WISDOM and consequently it was founded a new model of thought in philosophy. The statement of a sort of knowledge being considered as “intuitive knowledge” was the outcome of his trials in field of philosophy. In this article, it has been noted to the three issues of the kinds of insight, the means of insight, and the significance of insight in his view along with the presentation of a brief analysis of his political thought. It has been concluded that there exists a fundamental relationship between the two stated categories in the thought of master of illumination; it means that his political thought would be of epistemology foundation.

Abstract:

Territoriality is considered in the political geography and geopolitics as one of the fundamental issues. Territoriality is man making political structure that seeks to divide space. Territoriality is political nature or the nature of the dispute and no existed without ruthless dividing of space into separate parts and the exclusive allocation of space. Therefore, territoriality is purposeful process and may pursue various purposes, including economic, security, identity, stimulus or even emotional. This paper intends to use the three elements of "space", "power" and "identity" to explain the formation process of DISCURSIVE territoriality and using three categories: the context (proximate or distal), analytic form (post-/structuralize or interpretive-explanatory) and political stance (involved or detached), achieved the systematic and purposeful discourse analysis in critical geopolitics. And finally, with local and mouffe's theory of discourse divided into three interdependent apparatuses: the discourse apparatus, the identity apparatus and the politics apparatus this result is achieved the ways in which critical geopolitics scholarship has understood and made use of discourse analysis.

Abstract:

The present study aimed to investigate the DISCURSIVE antagonism in war novels. To this end, first antagonistic discourses were identified, and then the antagonistic atmosphere and otherness between the discourses represented in the war novels were analyzed: otherness in such novels focuses in part on the foreign enemy (Iraq). In this process, the Iraqi enemy is othered as a disbeliever in an ideological reading based on the discourse of the Islamic Revolution of Iran. Moreover, there is a tendency towards focusing on the enemy’s arms, hence neglecting the agency of its human forces. On the other hand, the liberal and ethnic nationalist discourses are othered as the domestic antagonistic discourses. The liberal discourse strives to deconstruct the idea of public mobilization by using the specialization slogan and defeat the hegemonic dominant discourse by weakening public mobilization. By juxtaposing ethnic values against national interests, the ethnic nationalist discourse strives to substitute ethnic values for national identity markers or give priority to the former. Finally, the Islamic revolutionary discourse becomes hegemonic, succeeding to marginalize the antagonistic discourses, or suppressing the other discourses by its hegemonic interference at times.

Abstract:

A disputable concept and a controversial issue in Iranian culture is the notion of WISDOM which covers an array of meanings, wide in range, and sometimes contrary to each other. Therefore, different schools of thought have presented different definitions. This essay investigates the style of two intellectual groups (mystics and philosophers) about WISDOM. By analyzing the verses of two outstanding representatives (Naser Khosrow and Sana-ee), we found out that Naser Khosrow's poems, in terms of concept, image and structure are without any preliminaries, based on WISDOM and logic. In spite of him, Sana-ee has brought some couplets in Hadighat ol Haghighah on expressing and defending WISDOM, yet, because his mental structure does not match with his intellectual logic, the result of his work is contrary to WISDOM.In this regard, it can be stated that the usage of the appellation of 'Hakim' for Sana-ee, is not accepted just by tolerance, whereas, Naser Khosrow truly deserves the title of 'Hakim'. The reason is that Naser Khosrow’s WISDOM includes both material and spiritual aspects, whereas Sana-ee's WISDOM is completely spiritual and lacks the material facet.

Abstract:

Violence generally monopolizes the discourse of social change. An alternative voice is that of marginalized people who confront nonviolently the danger of forfeited basic rights and need to secure rights. This essay applies sociological theories on the causes of violence as well as peacebuilding/nonviolence literature to three case studies: 1) Las Madres de la Plaza de Mayo through a Christian Liberation Theology perspective; 2) the Islamic revolution in Iran; and 3) the Gandhian/Buddist Sarvodaya Movement in Sri Lanka. These case studies illustrate the role that religion plays in nonviolent efforts to attain human rights recognition and suggest that marginalized voices may be heard as peacebuilding literature and nonviolent rights recognition helps us transcend the human rights dichotomy. This paper’ s main purpose is to break violence’ s monopoly on the discourse of social change and to allow room for nonviolent movements to contribute to the dialogue.

Abstract:

Apartheid means separation and segregation and separate development of geographically diverse ethnic groups. In light of the passage of liberal and Marxist theories of discourse analysis, this article reviews the nature of apartheid policies in the occupied territories since 1948. The article attempts to answer the question that what was the articulation and Israeli Apartheid discourse formation process? The research hypothesis is that Apartheid discourse in the time of articulation, exploited from identity making and equivalence by relying on Judaism to use as an instrument for achieving its political benefits. The dialogue seeks to create a new meaning system through the bond- of various identities in a common project. Based on this, social order is comprised of different scattered elements. These different and sparse elements consist of the external elements and forces are immigrants who settled in Palestine. In fact, Zionism, integrated floating identities and deserted Jewish elements to create identity and meaning system in the Occupied Territories through power mechanisms for legitimizing and abrading. This article is in two parts, the first part is due to the emergence of ethnic groups and geographic expansion and In the second part Israeli society by addressing a public space and assess the gaps and crises, stagnation, discourse hegemony and the emergence of competing discourses of Post Zionism is checked.

Abstract:

Considering the analysis of phenomenological discourse from the semiotic perspective, the tattoo semiotic system focuses on linguistic reproduction. Discourse reveals some aspects of sensory perception to the subject. Proper body is a path to the sensory perception of the lost dimensions of meaning and the lived experience of phenomena. The purpose of this study is to investigate the process of sensory perception of phenomenological tattoo in the framework of semiotics of discourse. Throughout the research process and with the development of Merleau-Ponty and Landowski theory, the authors study the written tattoo with the semiotic approach of Paris school of semiotics by dealing with the process of discovering, producing and receiving meaning. In the present study, the findings showed that the phenomenological tattoo leads the semiotic system of language towards the discovery of the lived experience of presence and reveals the hidden layers of meaning and conceal the obvious meanings. This is a feature of meta-discourse that manifests itself within discourse in order to achieve power and immortality, and leads to transcendence of semiotic system of discourse.
